iMovie09 vs. iMovie 11 - performance and features?

Hi guys!

This January I got my very first camcorder. As I already have iLife09 with iMovie09 I am curious about what I will get by upgrading besides the obius marked features.


I do not need things like trailer generation, but I would especially like to know:

1. is performance for editing/encoding/exporting improved? e.g. is there support for 2 cores (or more) fully? Any OpenCL support?

2. Any new formats besides AVCHD Lite?

3. improvements in digital stabilization?

The biggest change is with audio editing. You can choose to see the audio waveforms, similiar to iMovie6HD's timeline, and you have full control over fading the sound in and out anywhere along the audio track.
