Anyone have any info/experience with any?

Um, really? There is no such thing as an impact resistant skin. Even if a company is marketing one as such, it's simply not realistic, as the amount of impact resistance would be negligible (and I'm being generous here).

No such thing, as stated above. If impact protection is a priority then get a suitable case.

This is impossible unless your skin is really thick. Unlike most cases, skins don't have any built-in structure to distribute the shock of the impact. If the phone hits a corner, even with a skin on, the shock will be localized on that area alone, putting an enormous amount of pressure on a tiny area. This is what causes metal to deform or glass to shatter.

Of course, if the skin was very thick, it would act as a cushion to slowly decelerate the phone, but then it would look ridiculous. Like a sumo suit for your phone. You need a case for shock protection.

Nope, but it would be nice though. It'd be like asking for tear resistant paper, or something. Maybe in the future someone really smart can develop a super thin and super strong polymer to put on the outside. Maybe.
