I would love to see how his signal is NOT degrading. Seriously it says so right on the back of the blue print DO NOT COVER WITH METAL.

Hmm, metal blocks radio waves, so the only way waves get through is the front? That'll cut reception down a bunch, looks really nice though.

He has those cut outs on the back where the antennae is on purpose. The big hole near the camera, and then there are two slots cut near the bottom glass. He also mentioned that he tested it with all versions and saw no signal loss. But that was a part of the fine tuning that still had to be done.

At least it looks like he took that into account when designing the case. Who knows if it really does drop any signal though.

Here is a picture of the openings:

The logo kills it for me, get rid of that and I might consider it along with some sort of substantial testing for reception issues.

I think signal would be adversely affected still.
My example is : the element vapor style bumper..a recent reviewer tested it out .

Will c ... i guess.

i second that. maybe i should start a kickstarter for a better logo for this thing :D .

besides that, has anybody experience with these hard metal cases? i could imagine that my iphone would dangle a bit inside causing more chipping and scuffing. on the other hand if the case is very tight it may cause similar damages from installing and removing.

Usually there is a thin shock absorbing foam on the inside that protects the phone from getting scratched from the case and keep it tight.

Looks good, but like others I wouldn't back it or buy it until its proven there isnt signal loss and the hideous logo is removed.

The logo kills it for me as well or else I would've definitely gotten one. The kickstarter is for $80k, not happening either :/

Aluminum bumpers kill signals as well? That sucks, I was hoping to buy at least a aluminum bumper instead of an entire aluminum case.

I think there are some radio translucent (not sure if that is the term) bumpers coming. The phone doesn't come in for another 10 days so I can wait.

Buy one of the only non-branded phones on the market, then cover it with an aluminum billboard advertising iMpkt? No thanks LOL.

Looks like they removed the logo from the back because of the suggestions.
