I bought a 32 gig second Gen iPod Touch last night. My new computer is a Windows Vista 64 Bit. I have the right version of iTunes installed.

How do I alter any Import CD Settings? I do not have a iTunes > Preferences > Import Settings on this PC's iTunes nor my Windows XP computer where my soon-to-be-sold 32 gig 1st Gen iPod Touch is synced

The iTunes Help built into each only show iTunes > Preferences > Import Settings. I watch a tutorial at the apple site and it shows iTunes to the left of File Edit View Controls etc, but my computers do not (making me think those screen shots are Macs).

Anyone that can help?

Mike

i’m running vista and have itunes 8.0.1.11 and itunes has the import setting

in itunes

edit/preferences/general

in the middle you should see

when you insert a cd: ask to import cd import setting

if you don’t have it there must be something wrong with your installation of itunes

hope that helps

Yeah, I just spotted that a few minutes ago and I DO feel stupid as I went through all of those tabs and, well, as I said I feel TOTALLY stupid.

Thanks
