So I have 40 or so DVD's that are in Finder under "movies." When I move them into iTunes by dragging and dropping it copies to that location, as well as keeping them in the movies folder, taking up about 90 gig's of extra space. If I remember correctly from my first Mac I bought it's something as simple as control+something and then dragging and dropping in order to just forward where iTunes sees the movies, so as not to create a duplicate HD sucking file again. Any help?

In iTunes Preferences, under the Advanced tab you can set it not to move files from their original location during import (or when added to the iTunes library).

Hope that Helps
