Well Im having a hard time getting my pictures organized in lightroom. How do I import all my photos from iphoto? I go to: file> import from catalog> the to my computer name> pictures>

And this is what im not understanding... why iphoto library is not allowing me to choose it. Since that happend i created new folders naming the events in iphoto and cant even open those in lightroom?

Help?

What you need to do is first "export" all the photos from iPhoto into a folder. The iPhoto library is what they call a "bundle" or a kind of folder you can't see inside. If you could see into it you'd have more questions like "Why are there three times as many jpg files as photos and which ones should I import to LR?". Do the export.
