I understand I can simply import my photos by "restoring" but the truth is my library is a mess.

I just got a new computer and was thinking maybe it would be better to "re-import" the photos. Is there a way? Is that a waste of time?

Thanks guys

So I restored from time machine, but entering time machine and clicking restore.

However, not all of my pictures restored. I am missing 100's from a few different albums.

My 2 iphoto libraries are identical at 247.15 Gigs.

Any help? did i do the wrong restore option?

I restored an aperture library (That also contained iPhoto library) from time machine and it's a corrupted spaghetti mess now.

I'm not sure how to fix it, either.

crap...

I read that if you have iphoto open while you are backing up in time machine it doesn't like it.

I am rebuilding my library now with ILM...
