Import photos to new iphone

I had the 4th gen ipod touch for several years and recently bought the iphone 4. Over the years i took many photos with the ipod which i now want to move to the iphone 4. I have a windows laptop but have not idea at all how to move my collection to the iphone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Plug the iPod into the laptop and copy and paste the pics to a folder.

Sync the iPhone to iTunes and have it sync all photos in that folder you copied the pics to.
