Got my iPhone last night & left the back plastic on it. Taking pictures went great but when using the flash it made my pictures "white out". After taking off the back plastic the problem went away which brought me to the conclusions:

1. If getting a back protector be sure its got a cut out for the flash otherwise your photos will "white out"

2. If getting a case that covers the back be sure there is ample room around the flash otherwise the light cant spread and once again gives a "white" effect in your pictures.

Might be obvious to some but was not to me until I ran across these issues first hand.

ahh now I see why my night time pictures are terrible. I left the plastic that Apple puts on the back for now and all my flash photos are very washed out.
