So basically, I've had a LOAD of problems with my 2009 MBP, so they replaced it with an i7 2010 MBP 15".

Does any of yours lag when you're on the intel graphics card with simple things such as Expose, Magnification in dock, genie effect etc? Not huge huge lag, but noticeable lag, like you can see it struggling to load. Mine does it especially bad in screen savers, even after a new install with nothing running.

Apple are refusing to see this as a problem!

Please tell me if you have this issue!

I don't own a 2010 mbp, but i know that you can turn off the intel graphics all together and only use the "good" card. I have a 9400m and it runs the 15" screen graphics, but just barely. And i know that intel is way behind the 9400m so i wouldnt doubt that the graphics are really laggy. If you turn off the intel card and only use the 330m do you experience this?

Intel IGP is actually little faster than 9400M in benchmarks but due drivers, 9400M might be slightly faster in real world. I would guess this is just another of those freezing MBPs which have been more or less "popular".

Tim,

I shouldn't have to use the good card to perform basic tasks! My 9400M never had any of these problems, and as HellHammer has mentioned, under specification terms it is actually faster than the 9400M. Not to mention my friend tried to replicate all the problems I've had on his MBP and he couldn't do it, his had NO problems. But Apple continue to refuse.

Thankyou,

Joel

EDIT: I have ZERO problems when using the 330M, which obviously points to an issue with the graphics card, especially seeing as it does this on a brand new 10.6.3 and 10.6.4 install with nothing else running, fresh from boot.

I notice the lag sometimes on my MBP 13" 2010. It is especially evident when on graphic intensive sites.

Yes I scrolled all the way up and all the way down. No lagging at all. MBP 2.4GHz

At the very top with the Nissan Van, there was a lot of flash content in the form of ads I think. It makes it choppy. :(

Is something wrong with my MBP?!?!

Like I said, its probably an internet speed issue, that website has loads of data.

Yes, the intel HD card seems to struggle just a bit with OS animations. Everything is much more smooth with the nvidia card, which I leave on all the time while pluggd in.

I went to that website and no lag whatsoever on my 13" macbook pro. On a side note, I went to that same website on my cheap samsung netbook and no lag whatsoever as well. :D

I recently installed some Adobe Flash accelerator software someone recommended at some forum. Ever since then, youtube has been laggy as well.

Anyone know how I can uninstall it? It isn't showing up anywhere but I know it installed.

my 2010 mbp13 also lags on some sites. but I think gravytrain might have a point about the internet. Mine lags even on twowheelsblog.com. basically anything with a lot of embedded flash. I use flashblock now on chrome and seems far improved.
