Okay, I'm green.. Been used to pinnacle on my PC... Just got an iMAC last week.. I jumped ship so I can do amateur videos better on a better OS, blah blah blah...

The learning curve for FCE 4 I'm finding pretty steep... So after playing around with stock footage from wherever, I decided to import my first video from my kid's hockey game this past weekend. So.. As in the manual - I got VTR OK and recored away.. I'm done now and I can't find it anywhere to start experimenting further with..

I appreciate any guidance in advance.

Thanks,
Mark

It should be in the BROWSER window. The quicktime file(s) should be where you defined the capture folder in your Final Cut system settings.

If the footage is not there, then most probably something went wrong with the capture and you have to redo it.
