Hi there,

so i had a sd card with raw images on them, i wanted iphoto to import them and convert them to jpg, but after the import i noticed it took up 32 gb of space(the size of sd card) so i figured it imported the raw and not jpg, so i went in and deleted the photos and it only cleared up 2 gb of space....

please help as i now only have 3 gb of space on my machine and it is causing it to bug out.

basically how do i delete the temp cache or whatever is storing these new raw images,

much thanks!

Did you empty the iphoto trash? It has its own trash separate from the system trash. iPhoto will import the raw images then make a jpg preview, keeping both images.

Time to do some major house cleaning. Archive some stuff to an external drive or upgrade your current drive if possible.
