Imported video in iMovie 08?

I imported video from my camcorder into iMovie 08. I just downloaded iMovie HD 6 from Apple. How do I get the imported video from iMovie 08 to use in iMovie HD 6? Is it possible? I spent hours importing this video and I really don't want to have to do that again. Thanks.

I don't think it's possible. I did the same thing... imported into '08 and didn't like the new version so I dowloaded '06 and had to import everything again.
