I downloaded movies that I purchased in the Apple TV app. I then transferred them to an external hard drive from the Users/name/Movies/TV/Media/Movies folder. I'm trying to import them back into the app so I can watch them, but it's not working. Anyone have any ideas?

Importing AppleTV downloaded movies

As far as I know, you have to re-download the movies on the current computer/library. I tried similar thing, to have one external drive with downloaded purchased movies, but it will not work between different macs.
You need to have an automatically add to library folder I think on your external drive then you move them into that and open tv app and it will import them back in.
