Importing Burnt Playlist into iTunes

Howdy,

I made a compilation playlist for a friend and burnt it to CD. When it gets imported into his iTunes, the tracks come in as 'Track 01, Track 02, etc.' Is there a way for the files to retain their metadata like track name, artist, etc. when imported to the other library?
