Firstly this is my first post so if there is any tradition newbies should do then consider them done and 'Hello'

Secondly as per the thread title, I booked an appointment with a genius today for an issue with both my MBP and my iPhone and when they sent the email confirmation there was a link to click that automatically added the appointment to iCal.

Is it possible to import my work roster into iCal in the same manner?

Currently it is an .xls file but I have iWorks '09 so can have it as a mac based file if needed.

Your help would be appreciated as it is going to be a long day trying to put in every single shift for the next year otherwise!

You can do it, however you will have to save your workbook as a different file type. So instead of saving it as a .xls save it as a .csv. Also make sure your header row is proper.

For example, if I want to add a person's name (full) and email address I have to do:

First Name, Last Name, Email Address
John, Doe, johndoe@provider.com

Hope this helps!
