Importing from iPhone iMovie problem

Hi!

Always used iMovie for a little bit of editing here and there, until this evening! It boots up fine, but if I click import then it crashes if my iPhone is connected to my Macbook. If I click import without the phone connected it doesn't crash - until you plug my phone in...?

Any ideas?

[Edit: I have tried restarting both devices, of course! :)]
