Importing individual photos in iPhoto

In the older versions of iPhoto, when you plugged a camera in it would give you a screen where you could choose which to import from all the photos on the camera.

In recent versions it just offers you the option to import all, but ignore duplicates. This takes longer, and means you have to go through afterwards deleting rubbish pictures.

How can I get my old screen back?!

Try to use Image Capture instead, I think that will let you choose which photos to import from the camera...
