importing into iphoto from Android

so i used to import photos directly into iPhoto from my Note 3 every month or so. i upgraded it to android 4.4.4 a few weeks ago and since then it won't see the camera photos on my phone.

anyone else have the same issue?

Try opening Image Capture(in your Applications Folder), if it sees your pictures on the phone, tell it to import into iPhoto. iPhoto may then recognise it next time.
