Importing iPhone Screenshots into iPhoto difficulties

When I try to import screenshots taken on my iPhone into iPhoto, the import screen with all of the thumbnails appears perfectly, apart from not having thumbnails for my screenshots!!

It makes it a bit difficult to pick what ones you want to import lol. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this and if they have any ideas how to sort it. For reference, all software on my Mac is the latest and is completely up to date.

My screenshots go into a different directory on the phone to where the photos go. I copy them out manually, using WinSCP on my PC. Hope that helps.

PS The path is editable in Screenshot, including being able to choose the photo-roll directory.
