Importing iPhoto Library after fresh Leopard Install

I upgraded to Leopard last week but ran into all sorts of stability problems yesterday so I decided to do a clean install.

I am now trying to import my iPhoto library from my back up to my fresh MBP. When I select File / Import to Library, my iPhoto Library on my external HD is grayed out and cannot be selected.

Does anyone know how to load my old library so the events and everything else will be in order?

I just dragged-and-dropped the library file in Finder.

And just replaced the existing iPhoto Library file?

Thanks - I'm trying that now.

Edit: Looks like that did the trick. My mistake was trying to use the import function but I've always read not to mess with Finder when dealing with iPhoto. Thanks for the help.
