I am getting ready to clear my hard drive of my macbook pro and re-install Leopard. I want to make sure that I know how to re-install all of the necessities such as iPhoto. I'm getting everything worked out, but need some reassurance for iPhoto.

I will save my HD's contents on my external drive during the process, so I will have the iPhoto library "in tow." Can I simply import the iPhoto Library file from my external? I'm searched the forums a little but didn't find a direct answer. Thanks!

I found that when I did a clean install of leopard, I just placed the iphoto library in the pictures folder BEFORE opening iphoto and by doing this the library was there when it looked for it on launch. Seamless.
