Is this possible? I understand that I can take Garage Band tracks and import to Logic Pro 9, but I want to go the other direction, i.e., I would like to use Garage Band on an iPad2 (not yet purchased) as the vehicle for playing backing tracks (for live performance) that I have built in Logic Pro.

I think this about software, but just in case, I am running Logic Pro 9 and the latest Garage Band update to the latest Mac OS. The hardware is the latest iMac, 8g of Ram. I am using Presonus Firestudio for the A/D inputs to Logic Pro.

Thanks,

hank

You can "bounce" the tracks to a WAV file then import them into GB. If they are MIDI I think you can save them and then import them back into GB But I don't think you can move a project.
