Okay, this may sound like a completely stupid question, but can anyone explain to me why certain MP3s won't import into iMovie? I downloaded a file - it plays just fine - and it has the iTunes icon assigned to it. Some of my MP3s have Quicktime icons and some have iTunes icons. Why? Dunno. They all play fine and I haven't had any trouble. But for some reason, iMovie will not import any of my MP3 files that have iTunes icons assigned to them. Only quicktime. I was under the impression that iTunes, iMovie and iDVD were all linked up to one another and it would be easy to import files from one another. I really need these MP3s to work in iMovie for a project, but the program just won't import them. Can I alter the file to open in Quicktime by default?
