Ok i have an 1 GB mp4 video that i need to edit and add music to. I just imported it into iMovie and it says it will take 300 minutes. Is it serious? And my hard drive space is getting less and less. My question is should the movie be in another format in order to just drop in iMovie or should i use another program for this? I don't understand why it is taking so long or why my hard drive space is being used up by this.
