Importing old Itunes library into new itunes

Hi all, any help appreciated. My old emac popped it's clogs, but I still have the itunes backed up on a Lcie. Is there any way to import this onto my new I-mac, other than claiming all teh files are one playlist? Moving it in finder to the empty media file? Stumped

does the backup include the iTunes library file or is it just your media files ?

Ta for the reply, got it sorted just after posting this. Just dragged and dropped the old library into the folder for the library on the new mac. Fab
