I exported my Outlook contacts in several formats (textfile tab & comma, csv, and pst), but I can't seem to get any of them to work properly in entourage 2008.

I've had the most success with the two text files - it was successfully imported into Entourage's address book. But, I can't seem to get the contacts to appear when I write a new email. The pop-up box when I create a new message only shows the new contacts I created in Entourage, but not my previous Outlook contact. When I go to the address book tab, I see both. So, what can I do to properly import my outlook contacts? Thanks!

I struggled with this one as well. The csv files were imported correctly as far as the field matching goes, but every single word in all contacts was enclosed in quotation marks. Go figure...

My life was saved by the iPhone I had acqired simultaneously with my Mac. I pulled by PST file from Outlook 2002 onto my husband's laptop which has Outlook 2007 (because the iPhone can't talk to Outlook 2002 apparently). Then, I synced the iPhone with the laptop data file and afterwards with Entourage. This has resulted in the cleanest contact transfer between an old and new computer I've ever done. Can you get hold of a iPhone for this purpose?

I don't have an iPhone, but I do have an iPod touch. I'll try this and report back with the results

There is a $10.00 Windows program that will export all of your Outlook info in formats that will import into Mail, ical, and address book. I have used it on several occasions. The software is called O2M. Web site is :
