Importing Photos Into Snapseed Alters Them

I noticed when I import a photo into Snapseed, the photo changes a bit. I haven't even edited it or changed anything, and yet it's been altered. I imported about 5-6 different photos just to confirm, and each one, sure enough, was changed upon import. I also tried Retouch, and it did the same thing. Is there any way around this?
