Importing Photos w/GPS Location?

Using my iPhone 4, I took a few pictures in which I want to sync to my computer (MBP with Aperture) but after importing, the GPS data was on some images, but not others, why is this? I have the location service "ON" in the iPhone settings, so why would it only geotag some of my images? I even looked at "Places" within photos on my iPhone itself, and sure enough, the images WITHOUT the location on my computer DO have the location correctly on the phone itself..

I'm confused.
