Hello!

I have a Video CD (VCD) that I would like to carry in my iPod, and watch while on the move. The trouble is that none of the video ripping softwares (handbrake, mactheripper) are able to rip the video, because they are programmed to only rip DVDs.

I can copy the video files from the VCD to my computer, but all the files are in .DAT format. I can even play them in Windows Media Player.

Can anyone please suggest me how to convert these .DAT video files into .mp4 format?

The VCD runs well in DVD players.

Thanks a lot!
