So basically, I'm trying to figure out how to import a movie from my old Hi8 camcorder onto my computer. The camcorder came with the red/white/yellow cord adaptors, and I have a Dazzle that converts the red/white/yellow cord to a USB cord; however, when I press import in iMovie HD and iDVD, I can't access the the camcorder..
Any advice? (i.e. does the solution lie in getting new software or simply triggering an already existing mechanism in my 2.4 GHz MBP)
