importing video with camera connection kit

Hello all,

I picked up a camera connection kit so i could import video to my ipad from my SD card but i have a question, I cant play the video i have imported on my ipad, is this normal or am i importing the files wrong?

I am a coach and My goal with this was to import game footage into the ipad and be able to show the athletes their games via the ipad...

What is the video format, or if you are not sure, what is the camera model?

looks like its .mov file, and the camera is a Kodak Zi8
