Am having a problem that I thought someone may have some ideas for.
My wife and I have 2 different iCloud accounts. We both sync our library to iCloud.
Now, I have found no easy way to import her videos of our son into iMovie. The most intuitive way would be to use shared albums (maybe the Family album provided by Apple) but shared albums aren't available in iMovie.
I'm thinking about using one shared iCloud account moving forward which means we would now see automatically all photos on our phone. Not sure what the downsides might be. Other than large library.
If I go this route, would you consider the following:
1. Turn on iCloud Photo Library with my account on her phone.
2. That will upload all her pics to the cloud (in theory).
3. All my pics will download to her phone.
Is there a risk that one of the two libraries might get erased in the process?
