One of the most absurd things I've ever read.

The funniest part - "Apple tried to create their own system for years, but finally gave up recently and moved to Intel and Microsoft."

This person truly has no clue.

Sadly they're probably in charge of IT software purchasing for the UK government :p

Wow, what a loon. The internet has proven time and time again that idiots are in the majority.

The Internet can be such an interesting place.

Why just today, I found out that I can't run Linux natively and that I must have Windows installed first. Who would have thought that? :p

Ironically enough, I just had that problem last week! It was due to a documented bug in how Ubuntu Netbook Remix (UNR) writes a hard drive image to a USB drive, but long story short, it was easier to test the OS by using wubi than by live-booting... and wubi requires windows *facepalm*

But somehow I don't think that's what you meant

That does sound impossible when you word it like that.

I wish I knew what the original e-mail was about. It might make this response even more incredible.

Snort! Good one. :D

I wonder if Windows can run on this, and thus run Linux over Windows. Ha ha!

Anyhow, the world's smallest Linux computer:

I've been toying with the idea of getting one of these for fun.
