HI everyone,

I can't choose a custom photo for my Desktop wallpaper on Leopard.

When I choose a Photo in my Wallpaper a popup tells me: Duplicate Folder The folder you selected is already present in the picture source list.

This is wrong. And in the past it worked. It really sucks.

On my wife's machine, when I imported photos to her iphoto library, I set it to NOT copy the photos. This means that when I try to pick one as a wallpaper, it doesn't work. If you are picking a photo from your iphoto library, it might not work if it is on a network drive. If you really want a photo to show up on the desktop, toss a copy in your home directory or copy the file to your iphoto library before picking it from system preferences and it should show up.

There was also a bug where if you had iPhoto and Aperture installed at the same time, you couldn't add a custom folder to grab wallpapers from...

Thanks for your responses guy's !
@r0k I'm not an Iphoto user.
@rost12 I do have both of them installed. Is there a solution to this problem? Can I just delete Iphoto to solve this problem or will other issues arise then?
