This is super weird given we're at beta 3 already but AFAIK it's utterly impossible to set a random photo from the Photo library AND an Apple-supplied wallpaper on the Home screen. The dialog for picking a graphic for the Home screen doesn't include Wallpapers at all.

It DOES work the other way (wallpaper on lockscreen and photo on Home).

I'm on iPhone since 2008 and have written an actual print book on iOS 7 back in the day so I'm not exactly a noob.

It is possible I'm doing it wrong but if that's the case, it's the most unintuitive UI I've seen yet.

And I find it very weird that I can't find any mention of this anywhere - only the other way, which is actually possible, just very unintuitively implemented.

Any thoughts?

Yeah it does seem like an oversight. Only option right now is to download a copy and set it from photos

Still impossible in beta 4.

Lame as it is to say, I downgraded back to iOS 15 from the PB because of this. I was hoping one of the later beta's would reintroduce the capability, but it doesn't seem like beta 4 corrected it.
