I'm going to make a wild guess here, but did you have coverflow installed before iTunes 7 was released, or ever had coverflow on your system before Apple bought the technology?

The most likely scenario is that you, at one point in time, downloaded a 3rd party iTunes extension (ie, a visualizer of some sort) and that is what is displaying the message.
