I was one of the lucky ones to have my apple watch sport arrive today around 11 AM.
I immediately unboxed it and set up my settings with the app on my iPhone. The first thing that struck me was the build quality of the watch and softness of the sport white strap. The aluminum also looks very nice and is matte. In my opinion worth the money.
Of course I set up and played around a little bit with the watch for about 10 minutes but then went about my day in a more or less routine matter.
That includes several quick phone calls many notifications and about 20 text messages. Also using about 20 minutes of app usage. From 100% at 12:10 PM I am at 72% battery left it at 8:44 PM. As of now I am extremely pleased and looking forward to using this every day.
I think it will meet my needs very well. It is definitely a wonderful replacement for an original pebble. I love being able to be away from my phone in the house and use almost all the features on my wrist.
