CNET wrote a recent article and said, "The Series 4 boasts a thinner body, a bigger screen, a faster processor and -- on the high-end model -- a stronger LTE signal, so you can leave the iPhone at home on those early-morning runs."

Can anyone confirm this? I had the Series 3 cellular (SBSS) and was never impressed with the strength of the cell signal. It would be great if it was improved. I know that aluminum watches now get the ceramic backs which I think improves cell signal strength, but that's the only improvement I'm aware of.

Actually the S3 Sport (aluminum) LTE also had ceramic backs (unlike the GPS model). But apparently the S4 LTE models all have a better antenna.

Much more of the back of the S4 is ceramic, like the entire back, not just a circle in the middle. As for signal I went out with my watch without my phone on Sunday and held a strong LTE signal the entire time, generally 3-4 dots of signal.
