Is it me or has the recent update improved sound substantially? I use Sennheiser 580s powered by a Pro-ject headphone amp to get me through coding and I have got to say, the sound stage is much improved along with just an overall perceived increase in clarity etc. Anyone notice this or am I just hearing things....? -Hugo

Maybe the EQ settings got tweaked? I can't think of any way that the program itself would make an independent file sound any different.

Although you are listening on gear that has a much better response than most of us. You listening to AAC? MP3? ALAC?

Just listening to my usual mp3s (320kps or so). I've always kept "sound enhancer" off and the EQ flat. Who knows...
