Improved speakers?

One of my biggest gripe about my iphone has been the poor speaker phone volume and ear volume. any thoughts on if this has been improved. the speaker mesh looks bigger but that doesnt mean anything

I agree completely. I find the 3gs external spealer to be very quiet, and have to generally hold it up to my ear to hear clearly. Kid of defeats the point of an external speaker!

Here is to hoping 4 has a decent speaker!
