iPhone 14 Pro Max Improved thermal performance on the iPhone 14 Pro Max

Dave2D published his review 2 hours ago, in which he compared the thermal performance of a number of phones including the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It seems that the iPhone 14 Pro Max is able to stay a lot cooler, a lot longer, under high workloads. Not only that, but it performs better as well. Very impressive stuff.

That’s awesome. Hopefully that means my screen will be able to stay at a decent brightness outdoors for extended periods of time.

Edit: Oh, he seems to address this exact issue in the first 30 seconds of the video. Sweet.

Seems like the A16 is not only 20% more efficient (on the high performance cores), but also has a way bigger heatsink.
