Hi,
I have an early 2008 Mac Pro with single 2.8 Ghz Quad Code CPU and two Nvidia 8800 GT gfx cards. There are four screens connected to the cards. OS version is 10.6.8
When I have all windows on one screen - performance of expose is very smooth, but as soon as I open even a single window on one of other monitor, expose starts to lag, down to being completely useless and unbearable when there are many windows distributed over all four screens.
I wonder what is the bottleneck here and how I can improve the situation?
If that is a GFX card, will graphics card upgrade to something like Radeon HD 6870 (4 display ports) help?
Thanks
Don
