Standard Roblox installation, Windows 11 ARM, Parallels 20.2. M1 Pro, 16GB RAM. I'm trying to run two instances of Roblox on my Mac, this is the only solution I found where both are desktop rather than mobile versions (which have zero keyboard support). The performance is garbage though, if it runs fine on macOS then hopefully / theoretically it can too on Windows.
I've tried all the following in hopes to make it run without lag spikes, to no luck. I don't care how low the graphics are, It's only supposed to be a 2nd Roblox account in the same game & server.
- Play around with VM Settings: setting Cores & RAM to 6 cores and 8GB RAM, and then 10 cores and 12GB (with no other macOS apps running).
- Parallels VM Settings > Graphics > changing resolution from retina to scaled. "Graphics scaled to full size. Best for legacy apps."
- Changed the following settings in Bloxstrap > Engine Settings
- Capped FPS to 30.
- Tried both rendering modes: Direct3D 10 & Direct3D 11.
- Lowered all other graphics settings
