To anyone who can help,
I am in a hardware/software jam and don't know how to begin solving it.

I adapt scripts using word on my PC and I have been using an IMAC (OS 9) to watch and mark all the lines in the animation I am adapting.

My studio now says I have to upgrade so I can open their QuickTime movies which have codecs for HD. I was using Protools free which only runs in OS 9 but the new QuickTime movies won't open in OS 9. They will only open in OS 10.

I tried an old version of Final Cut Express but it could not open the QuickTime movie with the new codecs.

All I need is an OS 10 software that will open the QuickTime movie and let me put markers in the timeline. I don't need to export or anything, it is just a reference guide.

Any ideas? I am lost...
