Hello folks, I'm in a jamb. First off, my lovely machine is a Late 2008 Unibody 15", but it had a complication and the HDD SATA controller no longer functions, so I bought a CD bay with a standard SATA connector inside. Now, I'd like to try installing Windows 7 on a separate partition. I've tried virtualizing, but it just doesn't quite cut it for me. The only way I see myself doing this is to install from USB, I can't afford an external CD drive enclosure. I've tried using REFIt, multiple ISOs and methods, anything is helpful at this point. The only other method I see feasible is installing with another macbook pro and then swapping the windows HDD back into this one
