My experience with my 6 Plus the first few days was a combination of "wow" and "good grief". I had screen scroll lag, rotation to landscape issues, wifi dropout, 4G to LTE issues and some other stuff. Many of the issues with this iPhone and software version are more likely relative to massive iCloud "restore from backup" that my phone had to do. It took 3 days to finally download everything. The hidden background process was the album artwork for my music library. I picked up my new iPhone on Saturday and there were things still downloading Tuesday. It's been behaving much better since it completed this and it seems more "finished" then it did the first couple of days.

I guess this shines a light on iCloud and what happens under the pressure of a "download tsunami". The managers at my local Apple store were routinely telling people to "backup to iTunes on your computer" before doing a restore to their new phones. Perhaps there's no way to prepare or protect any cloud service from such an onslaught of use. Regardless, there are times a little more transparency from Apple would be in their best interest. Perhaps too many lawyers advising them them to never "admit" to anything.
