Universal In app audio links?

Hey, I used to be a developer (not for years now) but I remember I could see links apps were using on a program I had (can’t remember what is was or how it worked). But I bought an app recently and it need constant internet connection to play the audio, I was wondering does anyone know if I can still find out what link the audio is playing from so I can just download the audio for offline use intead of going though the ridiculous nonsense of this app. Any ideas? I’m not sure if I should put this here or in the dev forum... thanks
