iOS In App subscriptions

I understand that newspapers, TV and other media apps can offer recurring subscriptions in their ios apps.
My question is if other kind of app (services and solutions for example) can do the same.
For example i offerin extra utilities in my app for a monthly subscription.
Does anyone can help?
