Just got home £40 worse off and feeling a bit pissed off.

Bought a Belkin "TuneCast Auto LIVE", which clearly states on the box "Play music on your iPhone or iPod in the car while charging your device". When I plug it into my 4S I get a message saying "Charging not supported with this device". Works great for playing through the car, but a bit rubbish if it's going to eat my battery whilst doing it.

Anyone else had this problem?

Is it really not charging, or just giving that message? Do you get a charging lightning bolt on the battery icon?

I used to get a similar message when plugging my iOS4 iPhone4 into my car's stereo system (has ipod input) but it'd still work fine. I just ignored the message. (oddly enough, with iOS4 the message is gone?)

If what you bought isn't charging the phone, I'd take it back straight away.

No lightning bolt in the battery, so definitely seems like it isn't charging.

Trying to contact Belkin for some support but their site's being rubbish.
